Chelsea suffer new Hazard injury scare in Belgium clash

Chelsea have suffered a new injury scare with Eden Hazard after the forward was forced off during Belgium’s 8-1 victory over Estonia on Sunday evening.
In the 72nd minute of the match, Estonia’s Gert Kams stood on Hazard’s right foot during a challenge and the Chelsea star immediately signalled to the bench that he was unable continue.

Hazard went to ground to loosen up the laces on both boots and was quickly replaced by Everton winger Kevin Mirallas.
The 25-year-old had a brief chat with Belgium boss Roberto Martinez as he walked off the pitch and appeared to be frustrated with Estonia’s aggression.

In the first half, Hazard scored Belgium’s third goal of the evening with a thumping strike for Martinez’s side.
Everton’s Romelu Lukaku also scored a double for Belgium, as did Napoli forward Dries Mertens.
Thomas Meunier and Yannick Carrasco were also on target for Belgium, while Liverpool defender Ragnar Klavan put the ball into his own net.
